i3Works is delighted to announce that it has been honoured with the prestigious Gold Award by the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). This award reflects i3Works’ outstanding commitment and support to the Armed Forces community, including Veterans, Reservists, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) and military spouses.
The ERS Gold Award is the highest level of recognition bestowed by the Ministry of Defence in the UK, acknowledging organisations that demonstrate exemplary practices in supporting the Armed Forces community. As a recipient of the Gold Award, i3Works has demonstrated its commitment to providing exceptional support and opportunities to Veterans, Reservists, and military spouses, implementing various initiatives, including flexible work arrangements, tailored training and development programs, and proactive recruitment practices specifically designed to attract and retain talented individuals from military backgrounds.
“We are extremely proud and honoured to receive the Gold Award from the Employer Recognition Scheme. At i3Works, we recognise the immense value that Armed Forces personnel bring to our organisation and the broader community,” said Ben Ames, Executive Director at i3Works. “We are committed to creating a workplace culture that not only supports and values our Armed Forces personnel but also provides them with meaningful and rewarding career opportunities. This award is a reflection of our ongoing dedication to the Armed Forces Covenant and our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those who have served.”
As a recipient of the Gold Award, i3Works joins a select group of 193 organisations across the country that have demonstrated exceptional support and commitment to the Armed Forces community.
The accolade also highlights i3Works’ active engagement in supporting the Armed Forces through partnerships with military charities and participation in community outreach initiatives. Through the company’s military leaver’s network, Mi3, ex-servicemen and women within the organisation provide support and guidance to others following in their footsteps to ensure they encounter a seamless and successful transition into civilian employment.
Dominic Perry, Senior Consultant and head of Mi3 said: “This accomplishment is not only great news for i3Works but also for our reservists, CFAVs, and service spouses. This demonstrates i3Work’s commitment to providing them with benefits that are on par with those offered by other leading organisations. It’s a testament to our commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and support for our military community as well as a symbol of our gratitude, appreciation to military personnel and their families. It doesn’t end here though; we will continue to build upon this success, ensuring we have an environment that enables service leavers to thrive.”
